Real Madrid earned the 77-81 victory over Maccabi Tel-Aviv and snapped its three-game losing streak in the EuroLeague.

The “Whites” improved to 16-6 and remained close to the top. On the other hand, the Israelis saw their undefeated streak at home come to an end and dropped to 14-8.

In Moscow, CSKA dominated rivals Khimki on the road and earned its fifth straight win (69-78). The “Bear” improved to 16-6 and is tied with Real Madrid and Barcelona for second in the standings.

For its part, Khimki dropped to 9-13 and its playoff place now is in jeopardy (9-13).

Olympiacos played very well defensively and rallied past Baskonia at home (80-70), retaining its hopes to advance to the playoffs (9-13).

At the same time, the Basques dropped to 8-14 and missed another chance to come closer to the playoff zone.

Fenerbahce claimed its fifth victory in the last six games and remained one step away from the playoff zone (10-12).

The Turks edged ALBA in Berlin (70-74) and proved they have the momentum on their side over the past month.

Concurrently, the Germans dropped to 7-15 and are on the brink of elimination.

Barcelona crushed Zenit Saint Petersburg at home (90-72) and is tied with Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow in the standings (16-6).

The Russians remained on the bottom of the table with a 7-15 record.

Zalgiris Kaunas escaped from France with a big victory over ASVEL Villeurbanne (74-79). The Lithuanians continued their big comeback in the EuroLeague, winning for the fifth time in the last seven games.

Both teams now have identical records (8-14).

Armani Milano came back from a 20-point deficit in the third quarter (40-60) and survived Bayern Munich at home (79-78).

The Italians maintained a playoff push (11-11), whereas the Bavarians dropped to 7-15 and are on the brink of elimination.
