A Japanese man decided to use his love for basketball in order to raise money and help in the effort of reconstructing schools hit by the tsunami.

It may have taken him eleven days, but Hiroshi “Morris” Morioka managed to dribble a ball all the way from Tokyo to Sendai (230 miles – 370 kilometers) in an effort to raise money for 100 basketballs that are to be donated to schools being built in tsunami-hit areas in Japan.

A real life Forest Gump, Morioka also gained quite a following on the way.
