Whilst addressing the media on Thursday afternoon in Paris, Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke about his three-point shooting.

Even though the 25-year-old is shooting at a below-average 32% from beyond the arc, that doesn’t appear to affect his confidence.

“I’m excited shooting threes, I love shooting threes, and I think it helps my game. It opens up the floor for me… as long as I’m comfortable, I’ll probably shoot more.”

This season, Antetokounmpo is attempting 5.1 three-pointers per game. This is a career-high by quite a stretch, and up by 2.3 attempts on last season.

In addition, the current MVP was asked about the concept of playing a regular-season NBA game in Paris. Balancing the fun and excitement, and taking care of business on the court at the same time.

“It’s kind of hard. Usually when I’m in Paris it’s the off-season.. all this vibe, a lot of media, a lot of excitement, it feels like an All-Star break almost. But at the end of the day we’ve got a job to do which is win the game.”

Talking about having fun. Giannis Antetokounmpo took part in a three-point contest, with fellow teammates Kyle Korver and Eric Bledsoe, in front of the media on Thursday. You can view this here.
