2010 NBA Champion and 2004 DPOY Metta World Peace, who last played in the league in the 2016-17 season for the Lakers, was asked by TMZ Sports journalist about whether the current Lakers squad is better than his 2010 Championship one:

“I think they’re bigger than us to tell you the truth … They’re 24-6 at this point? They’re bigger than what we were at this point in the season,” Metta said.

The Lakers have the second-best record in the NBA at 25-7, whereas James is averaging 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 10.8 assists per game, while shooting at 49.0% from the field this season.
