LA Clippers superstar Paul George stated that his team could clash with the Lakers in the 2020 Western Conference Finals.
The two teams faced each other on Christmas Day, with the Clippers earning the 106-111 victory and being 2-0 against the Lakers this season.
The versatile forward expressed the opinion that the two powerhouses will likely meet each other in the 2020 Western Conference Finals.
“It’s two for two in terms of intensity. I think it doesn’t get any better than this, this match up, a fun match up. I think this is what it’s going to come down to at the end of the day,” he told reporters.
The Clippers will clash with the Lakers two more times during the regular season, on January 29 and March 9, respectively.
