The Los Angeles Lakers point forward LeBron James might miss his first game of the season vs. the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night as he is dealing with ‘a nagging groin issue’ in addition to thoracic muscle strain, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

“If (James) doesn’t go (Sunday) then we’ll need a group effort. We’ll release starting lineups and all that stuff tomorrow but it’s one of those things that no one person can pick up everything that LeBron does for our team, so just have to be a group effort,” Vogel said.

This season, James is averaging 25.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 10.6 assists per game, while shooting at 49.6% from the floor.
