The 25-year old Bulgarian Kaloyan Ivanov of Lucentum Alicante was voted December MVP for the ACB, the final award for 2011.
Ivanov averaged an 26.5 index rating points behind 13.2 points and 13 rebounds leading his team to a perfect 4-0 record during December. Alicante is currently standing 5th in the ACB with a 10-3 record.
Ivanov’s best game came against Manresa where he posted 19 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 12 fouls drawn for an index rating of 42. The Bulgarian also leads the league in overall index rating with 21.1
