Number one draft pick Zion Williamson is still recovering from injury and yet to make his NBA debut. There are reports that Williamson will make his debut in 2020.

Though two NBA analysts say the New Orleans Pelicans should sit Williamson this season, Landon Buford of Heavy.com reports.

Former NBA player and current Fox Sports Southwest analyst Cedric Ceballos as well as Stephen A. Smith both say the Pelicans should keep Williamson debut for the next season.

That is what was done with Blake Griffin and Ben Simmons who sat their first seasons. Because of that both of them were eligible for Rookie of the Year award the following season and both won it.

It remains to be seen what the Pels will do. But with a 13-game losing streak a breath of fresh air would definitely be a good thing.
