Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers shared his thoughts about the upcoming NBA Christmas Day game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
How about getting to play on Christmas this year with this squad are you looking forward to getting to play on Christmas this year with this squad?
IZ: “For sure, for sure, Christmas games are ever since I was a kid, it was like a tradition for me. I watched Christmas games and I’ve been lucky ever since I’ve been in the league I’ve played in every Christmas so far. Those are special games and I can’t wait to play.”
Do they feel like that? Do they feel like that like it has a little extra from the players perspective?
IZ: “Yeah, especially because it’s against the Lakers. That’s always something, a little extra. Just being a Christmas game makes it special. Guys always want to win on Christmas.”
On that note, how important is your depth coming into these big Western Conference games?
IZ: “It’s really important. I mean, were not really healthy so far this year and that’s where our depth showed. We’ve always got some guys ready. They are always ready even if they aren’t playing every game and it’s really big for us.”
