Alexis Ajinca could be returning to Europe and the French league in case he doesn’t find a team in the NBA.

According to Strasbourg’s head coach Vincent Collet, the French team is interested in signing Ajinca for the duration of the French season

“There will be a number of players that will be cut from their respective teams in the NBA and we hope that we can reach an agreement with Ajinca or someone else this week,” Collet said in Monday’s edition of L’Equipe.

The 23-year old, 218cm tall French international carries four years of NBA experience and last season he was with the Toronto Raptors where he averaged 4.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11 minutes.

Ajinca has not yet commented on the possible move to France.
