A jumper from Argentine Pablo Prigioni with 1.7 seconds remaining steered Caja Laboral to an 81-79 victory over Olympiacos in Vitoria.

This result maintains Caja Laboral’s 100% start to the Euroleague season and condemned the Greeks to a second defeat, as they drop to 1-2 overall.

With eight seconds left, Olympiacos’ Vassilis Spanoulis tied the game at 79 with a wild three-pointer, but Prigioni hit a short-range jumper to seal the victory.

Mirza Teletovic paced the winners with 20 points. Kevin Seraphin and Fernando San Emeterio each added 15 for Caja Laboral. Spanoulis hit 19 for Olympiacos.

Elsewhere, Union Olimpija Ljubljana scored their first win of the Euroleague with a 70-62 win over Asseco Prokom.

Danny Green led Union Olimpija with 23 points and was the only player in double-digits for the victors. Alonzo Gee led Asseco Prokom with 13.

There were also two blowouts, as CSKA Moscow routed KK Zagreb 89-47 as they improve to 3-0 and Montepaschi Siena got off to a fast start, leading 30-16 after the first quarter to win 103-77 against Galatasaray in Italy.
