After the Los Angeles Clippers’ 114-99 road victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, Clippers’ Paul George shared his thoughts on Mavs’ point forward Luka Doncic:

“Luka does so much for them. He creates offense, he’s a scorer, he rebounds. He does so much for them that we knew we had to wear him out. We had to tire him on the offensive end. Defensively, we just kept a body on them. We never gave him a good look and we switched multiple bodies on him. And we just we tried to threw whatever we got at him. Tonight, we were successful with it.”

“I think that’s what makes it so impressive,” George replied when asked how impressive is what Doncic is doing at 20 years old. “Because he’s doing it but he doesn’t know he’s doing it. If you get what I’m saying. He’s still a baby. He’s got so much that he’s going to grow. He’s really going to figure it out. He’s already doing amazing right now. He’s going to be scary when he fully figures it out and starts to really hit his prime,” George said, per Eurohoops.

This season, Doncic is averaging 30.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 9.5 assists per game, while shooting at 48.5% from the field.
