Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic dropped 41 points against the Houston Rockets leading the Dallas Mavericks to the eleventh win of the season. Doncic is having a stellar second season in the NBA and is already included in the MVP talks.
Doncic is averaging 30.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game so far this season. And his latest all-star-type performance was appreciated by the fans in Houston who chanted ‘MVP’ at Doncic.
It was something special for Doncic to hear the chants, per Dwain Price of Mavs.com:
“It was nice. When I hear those sounds it was very nice. I never imagined being called like that in the NBA. It’s something that’s special.”
