New Jersey Nets will return to London’s O2 Arena in March of 2012, to face off against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic

The games though, scheduled for March 7th and 8th are under serious doubt – as the NBA is in the middle of a lockout – due to a labour dispute between players and owners which is threatening the start of the new NBA season.

Should the games go ahead, it will be the Nets’ second visit to England’s capital, following their success over the Toronto Raptors, where they recorded two victories. Including a triple overtime victory in the second game.

Orlando will make their second visit to the British shores, should the regular season games go ahead. They played at the Wembley Arena in 1993 against the Atlanta Hawks in an exhibition game. Magic superstar Dwight Howard will hope to return to the O2 Arena in mid-August for the United States of America in the Olympic basketball gold-medal game.

Toronto Raptors and New Jersey Nets played in-front of sell-out crowds at the dome-shaped venue in March of this year.
