Kevin Huerter of the Atlanta Hawks will be out at least two weeks with a left rotator cuff strain with an associated shoulder capsule strain.

Heurter, who is averaging 9.3 points per game, will enter a period of rehabilitation and treatment and will be re-examined in two weeks.

Huerter left the game against the Denver Nuggets after being fouled by Nikola Jokic.

The Hawks also recently lost John Collins to suspension, so the team will be relying even more on players like breakout point guard Trae Young and Jabari Parker to carry the load.
