CSKA Moscow has made an official offer to Olympiacos for Milos Teodosic.

The offer which was made today includes CSKA paying the player’s release clause of around 1.3 million euros. Teodosic has a status similar to the one of NBA’s restricted free agents. Meaning Olympiacos can tie the best offer the player has and keep him at the team for one more season.

However, given the future uncertainty regarding the team’s finances and CSKA’s offer to the player (around 5 million euros for two seasons) it is certain Olympiacos will accept the offer and let the player go.

The money that CSKA (1.3m) will give Olympiacos could go a long way next season as the team will dramatically reduce its budget and income.

CSKA holds a rather good record when it comes to acquiring players from the Greek powerhouses as some of their previous signing include JR Holden, Papaloukas and Siskauskas.
