Slovenia coach Bozidan Majlkovic has named a preliminary 17-man squad for the upcoming Eurobasket that starts on August 31st.

The big news is that Barcelona’s Erazem Lorbek, who took a year out last summer is included on the list, along with team-mate Jaka Lakovic. Both just recently won the Spanish ACB title with a series sweep over Bilbao.

Houston Rockets guard Goran Dragic is also added, along with his younger brother Zoran, who won the Slovenian crown with Krka.

Majlkovic will need to make cuts before flying out to Lithuania, where they begin life in Klaipeda against Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belgium and Georgia.

Klaipeda hosts Group D.
