After two successful seasons at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Chuck Eidson decided to move on, rejecting the Israeli champions’ offer for a contract extension.

According to the player’s agent the reasons behind his client’s decision were financial ones as the player requires a $3M contract for the next two seasons, a sum that Maccabi Tel Aviv can not afford.

According to the latest rumours the player has already got offers from Real Madrid, Caja Laboral and Fenerbahce Ulker. Eidson also received an offer from CSKA Moscow which he already rejected.

Eidson, who was 2011 Final Four top scorer, wouldn’t mind staying in Israel, but Maccabi’s offer was just $1.7M for two seasons.
