American guard Mire Chatman who has been with the Turkish Club Besiktas for the past three seasons nailed a triple double to lift Beskitas to victory by scoring against Turkish Basketball League hopeful Erdemir 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Getting near triple doubles have become common-place for the talented point guard.

In fact, this season Chatman happend to score the most points in a single game in eurocup history when he scored 43 points to go with 7 rebounds and 3 assists against German club Goettingen. It was during the eurocup season that Chatman followed that up with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists against the same German club.

And in the Turkish basketball league his play has been no different. He has been nothing short of spectacular. He scored 34 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists in a win against Oyak Renault in November that had the former NBA All-Star Allen Iverson asking, “Why haven’t I seen him in the NBA?”

Chatman scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in a victory against Turk Telekom and most recently in the heated Turkish rivalry between Fenerbahce Ulker and Besiktas; Chatman scored 16 points 4 rebounds and 10 assists. All of this good play has Chatman and Besiktas in discussions for a contract to bring him back for yet a fourth season.
