Dwane Casey is impressed by what Derrick Rose is showing in practice. The projected Pistons backup point guard “looks like he’s got rockets in his back pockets”, according to Casey.

Rose himself is happy to be in Detroit. According to him, coach Casey wants him to do the things he likes the most – get to the paint and create.

The MVP of the 2010-2011 NBA season signed a two-year deal with the Pistons last summer. Last season the 30-year-old averaged 18 points per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
