Now New Orleans Pelicans guard JJ Redick feels the Los Angeles Clippers had the right tools to win at least one NBA championship while he was on the team.

Redick joined Zach Lowe on the Lowe Podcast on which he told a story how we spoke with Doc Rivers last season after the game about how the Clippers with Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Paul Pierce and Redick himself failed to achieve what they were clearly capable of.

Speaking on the topic, Redick said:

“We really f****d that up. We really had a chance to win. To me it was such a special time and then by the end of my third year, fourth year it just felt completely different. And there was these small little cracks and small little fractures and we didn’t do the right thing and we didn’t repair them the way we should have and address them the way we should have. I look back and I’m like, how did that team not win 1 championship?”
