The Dallas Mavericks big man Dwight Powell, who signed to a three-year, $33 million contract extension this offseason, talked on his fellow Mavs’ teammate Kristaps Porzingis:
“He’s very good. He’s very, very good. I’m excited, very excited. He’s 7-foot-3 and he shoots it from anywhere, with ease. It’s kind of hard to affect that shot. He’s moving well, he’s at full-strength. He’s looking very good out there. We’re all very excited,” Powell said, per The Dallas Morning News.
This past season, Powell averaged 10.6 points, 1.5 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. Porzingis, meanwhile, missed the 2018-2019 season after landing awkwardly on the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo foot after a dunk back in February 2018.
