Luis Scola was unstoppable once again and led Argentina past France (80-66), helping his team reach the Final of the Basketball World Cup.

Argentina made a better start to the game (10-2) and retained the lead until the end of the first half (45-38).

Even though France tried to remain competitive, the Argentinians extended their advantage to double digits (52-38, 60-45).

Things didn’t change much until the end of the third quarter, with France being down by 12 (60-48).

The French attempted to turn things around in the fourth quarter (65-57), but Scola made back-to-back three-pointers and sealed the deal for his team (74-59). France never recovered after that and were defeated.

Argentina will face Spain in the Final of the tournament. France will play against Australia in the third-place game.
