The season is approaching day by day and ABA League teams have new tests behind them. Crvena zvezda mts have demonstrated power by beating Darussafaka Istanbul with the score of 92:73 at home in Belgrade, in a game played in Štark Arena. Zvezda dominated the court all game long, except of a mini-crisis in third quarter and have deservedly come up with a convincing win in the end. Stratos Perperoglou topped the list of scorers for the Red and White with 17 points, while James Gist added 14.
In Kraljevo, Mornar met Sloga and as many have expected, they have got away with a convincing victory over the hosts. Mornar led by 7 points at the big break and by 9 after 30 minutes of the game. In the last quarter, they finally cracked the resistance of Sloga and won with a big margin – 92:69. For Mornar, Nemanja Vranješ was the most efficient, as he added 18 points for the win of his squad. Antabia Waller scored 17.
In Split, the hosts faced Zadar in the second game of the two sides in a few days and it resulted in a high-scoring contest, where Split came up on top in the end, with the score of 108:107. As the final score suggests, it has been a close game all game long and in the end, the win could go to either side. For Zadar, Jure Planinić had 22 points, while Ive Ivanov had 16.
