Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe believes that big man Dwight Howard was the most suitable candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers:

“I think Dwight’s the best fit of the options they had: Dwight, Joakim Noah, Mo Speights, Marcin Gortat. If Dwight Howard’s half of what he once was, he’s better than what all of these guys may have been in their entire careers at their absolute best,” Sharpe said.

The 33-year-old played for the Lakers in the 2012-13 season and averaged 17.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per contest.
