According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Dallas Mavericks have re-signed point guard J.J. Barea to a one-year veteran’s minimum deal. Barea said he also registered interest from both the Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons.
This past season, the 35-year-old averaged 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists, while shooting at 41.8 percent from the floor.
