Serbia national team is getting ready for another test against Lithuania – the two sides will face each other tonight in Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas. Boban Marjanovic, who has previously played in Kaunas with Zalgiris in 2010-2011, talked to media about the national team.

On joining the national team: “I feel good. I think we have very good players. We have very good team. We are getting better and better.”

On Milos Teodosic’s injury: “I hope he comes back soon. I hope it’s nothing really serious. After treatment I hope he will be back on our team. It’s bad because [in Teodosic] we have one of the best point guards in the world. I am not a doctor but I know it’s tough but I think the doctors will do their best and he will recover.”

On Serbia’s chances to win gold: “I think we have good chances. Every time you start to practice you set high goals, not just our team, every single team. When you are on the court you have to play hard, play tough and be brave.”

On playing against Sabonis and Valanciunas: “They are really amazing. They have success in the NBA so far. It’s really fun to play when you have somebody really good on the opposite side. You give your best.”

On return to Kaunas: “I have a lot of great memories. I really enjoy this city. This is one of the best arenas in the world.”
