The now-Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd has nothing but praises for his former teammate on Team USA LeBron James and hopes will help him win a championship with the Lakers:

“LeBron is one of the smartest players in the world, one of the best players to ever play the game. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to help him to hopefully achieve his goal and our goal as the Lakers to win a championship,” Kidd said.

This past season, James averaged 27.4 points (51 FG%), 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.
