Via an official statement on Thursday, the Portland Trail Blazers announced the acquisition of Pau Gasol.
The two-time NBA champion was a free agent and wanted to join a top NBA team and fight for another title. He signed an one-year contract with the Blazers.
Gasol has played for the Memphis Grizzlies, the Los Angeles Lakers, the San Antonio Spurs, the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks during his career in the NBA.
