The Los Angeles Lakers have signed power forward Jared Dudley to a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal this offseason. Dudley shares his thoughts on his joining the Lakers organization:

“The pitch was basically having another veteran presence in the locker room, a guy (with) a pretty good basketball IQ going into my 13th season, and then, another shooter. Any time you have those two dominant players, you’re going to need spacing and shooting, and any time you have guys that can think on the fly and have had playoff experience, I think I can help any roster,” Dudley said, per NBA.com.

This past season, the 34-year-old averaged 4.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
