Serbian power forward Milan Mačvan agreed with Alvark Tokyo, where he will join coach Luka Pavićević. The news about Mačvan’s movement to Japan was first published by Serbian portal Basketball Sphere.

The Serbian power forward was out of the court for a long time due to a tough knee joint injury he suffered in a preparation game while playing for Bayern Munich.

Now, Mačvan is with the Serbian national team on the mountain Kopaonik, where they are preparing for the upcoming World Cup in China. This signature will help him focus only on the preparations.

During his career, Milan Mačvan played for FMP, Hemofarm, Maccabi, Partizan, Galatasaray, Olimpia Milan and Bayern Munich.

Alvark Tokyo is the current champion of the Japan national league and their head coach is Montenegrin expert Luka Pavićević.
