Spain U18 National Team managed to win the European Championship Women by beating France in the final game 64-54 rather easily. Read more and the rest of the results here.
The final took place in Södertälje, Sweden and Spain beat France mainly due to a 14-0 run in the beginnings of the second half when they were up by just three points, 36-33. Things got much easier for the Spanish women from that moment and their coach Carlos Colinas expressed his pride in his players. Leonor Rodriguez with 22 points and Armaya Gastaminza with 16 points and 10 rebounds led their team.
