Croatia have won their first ever Gold medal at the Mediterranean Games! They managed to beat Greece in the final game, rather easily, 72-60.
The quarters' score of the final were: 23-16, 16-16, 17-19 and 16-9. This is the second medal for Croatia in the Mediterranean Games after winning the silver medal in the 1993 Games, held in France, losing to Italy.
In the meanwhile Turkey won the bronze medal beating the host nation of Italy 88-71.
The classification games took place yerterday and the results were:
Classificaiton 5-6 match: Morocco 108-67 Albania
Classification 7-8 match: Montenegro 68-62 Serbia
So the final standings are:
