Lithuania national team continues its preparation for Beijing Olympics. Eurobasket 2007 bronze medalists played their second friendly game against Iceland. This time the squad featured all the best players except Darius Songaila who wasn't registered for the game due to a minor injury.
Iceland couldn't stop Lithuanians as they won the first quarter by 11 points and continued increasing the lead through out the game. The final score 115:62 reflects the gap between the two teams.
Top scorers for Lithuania: Linas Kleiza 16, Ramunas Siskauskas 13, Mindaugas Lukauskis 13, Marijonas Petravicius 12, Sarunas Jasikevicius 11 Ksistof Lavrinovic 11.
Lithuania will play one more time against Iceland on Tuesday in Vilnius before heading to Spain where they will test the skills against Olympic Champions Argentina, World Champions Spain and Portugal.
In the first friendly game Lithuania defeated 7-men Belarus 113:57.
