Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman (26, 2.13) received German passport and will be able to help Germany in Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Athens which starts next Monday. Last season was 5th season for him in NBA and so far the most successful. Kaman had 15.7 points and 12.7 rebounds per game.
Head coach of Germany national team, Dirk Bauermann was delighted with the news so was German NBA star Dirk Nowitzki.
Germany will face New Zealand and Cape Verde in Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Group B.
