According to Boston Herald, 23-year old Turkish National team member Semih Erden will play for Boston Celtics in the summer league trying to prove himself for one-year contract.

After renewing contracts with coach Doc Rivers and one of their best players Paul Pierce, Celtics now search for some new players in order to improve their squad. One of those could be 23-year old Erden who has played for Turkish side Fenerbahce last season averaging 8.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Celtics will offer Erden one-year deal with minimum sallary of 473.000 dollars for the players without previous NBA expirience.

He has been selected at 60 position of the 2nd round in 2008 years draft by Boston.
