Enes Kanter, the 1992-born Turkish prospect who is currently competing in the highschool championship in the US as a fifth-year senior with Stoneridge Prep, is enjoying a great start of the season, averaging 32 points and 18 rebounds.
"There is not a better player in the country. He is scary good" commented Coach Derryck "Tank" Thornton on Kanter.
Just last week, Kanter went 32-21 in points and rebounds respectively in his team's victory against Rise Academy from Philadelphia.
Kanter missed the signing period in November and his next chance to officially commit with an NCAA team will be April 14, 2010. A few weeks ago the Seattle Times reported that Kanter has already verbally agreed with Washington University .
