In an interview with the Greek newspaper “Prasini”, James Gist said he wants to keep playing for Panathinaikos.
Here is what the American power forward/center said:
On retaining his place in the roster: “Personally, I have no reason to leave. I want to keep playing for the team for another season, but if this does not happen, I will understand it.”
On Rick Pitino: “He motivated us and that was very important. His arrival was a wake-up call. He was very passionate and had the desire to help us succeed.”
