Jamal Murray exudes confidence as the Denver Nuggets gear up to defend their NBA title against the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs.

Murray believes in the Nuggets’ ability to replicate their championship success, drawing inspiration from their cohesive team dynamics and individual preparedness.

“I don’t see why we couldn’t. I just have a lot of confidence in us and our group. A lot of confidence in myself. A lot of confidence in Joker. A lot of confidence in my preparation for anything that’s thrown our way,” Murray said, per Harrison Wind.

The last back-to-back NBA championships were achieved by the Golden State Warriors in 2018, but Murray sees no reason why the Nuggets can’t follow suit.

With a stellar regular-season performance, securing the No. 2 seed in the competitive Western Conference, the Nuggets are poised for another deep playoff run.

Murray’s leadership and on-court prowess have been instrumental in the Nuggets’ success this season, averaging 21.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game.
