At 35 former French international Cyril Julian decided to put an end to his career. The 2.06m centre was finding was finding it increasingly difficult to play due to a feet problem that has been bothering him for years.
A product of Nancy, where he ended and played most of his career, Julian also wore the jerseys of Paris Saint-Germain, Pau-Orthez, Girona and Pamesa Valencia. For France he played a total of 135 times until 2006 and helped the national team conquer the silver medal at the 2000 Olympics.
