In an interview with Eurohoops.net, Giannis Bourousis said he will consider a return to Europe this offseason.
Here is what the former EuroLeague champion said:
“In China, the contract situation has changed. Every team has a right to replace a player every two months.
You may sign a 10-month contract, and if the team doesn’t make the playoffs, you don’t get paid for two months. And every two months, the team has a right to replace you.
Under these circumstances, I will look to play in Europe. I can’t go back to Greece because I don’t have any offer. I will look to [play in] Spain, a country I like.”
