Sarunas Jasikevicius had been doing individual training session to keep in shape but as of tomorrow he will join Peristeri trainings, in Athens.
Peristeri is a well known Greek A1 team and Jasikevicius decided to join their training sessions. It is yet unclear whether the player will sign a short-term deal with the club following Nikola Vujcic example who trained and played some games with KK Split until he got an offer he was looking for by Efes Pilsen.
The player had repeatedly stated that he wishes to stay in Greece, however did not rule out a move abroad, as long as the offer is good enough. Obviously the offers by Zalgiris and Lietuvos Rytas were not good enough.
