In a hard-fought battle in Utah, the Houston Rockets edged the Jazz (101-104) and came one step away from the Western Conference semi-finals (3-0).

Although Utah was in front for the majority of the night, the game was decided in the final seconds. With his team down by three (99-102), Donovan Mitchell missed the game-tying three-pointer, with nine seconds to go, and P.J Tucker sealed the deal for the Rockets from the free-throw line.

Despite starting the game 0-for-15, James Harden finished with a team-high 22 points for the winners. On the other hand, Mitchell had a game-high 34 points for the losing squad.

Game 4 will be played in Utah on Monday (22/04).
