ImageTeo Papaloukas was awarded with the Round 5 MVP after he led his team Olympiacos to a great win over their rivals Panathinaikos. Papaloukas gathered 83 votes and became the third Olympiacos player to win a round MVP award after Linas Kleiza and Milos Teodosic.


Papaloukas played more than 18 minutes coming off swine flu due to which he had missed two games but in his come back he impressed scoring 20 points (4/4 threepointers and a total of 7/10 FG), grabbing 4 rebounds, stealing two balls and dishing a single assist.

Josh Childress of Olympiacos was voted 2nd with 63 votes while another American, Christopher Massie got 30 votes. A total of 38 media representatives from all over Greece voted.
