Awards keep coming in for Linas Kleiza and after winning thr Gameday 1 MVP award he now won the October MVP award, after getting voted by 33 members of the Greek media.
Linas Kleiza commented on his second MVP award in a few days:
"The thing that counts the most is that the team wins and not me getting the MVP awards. Starting with two wins in two games is definitely something positive but we have a lot of way to go to improve even further. I would rather have the same results with the team at the end of the season and me not getting any awards." and continued:
"Maybe some expected us to win games easily and perform great in all games. Of course the idea is great but we can not do that in a matter of days and without trying hard. Most important thing for me is to get the wins no matter how and be ready for the title games later on."
