The Turkish League has cracked hard down on Galatasaray after the club tried to cheat by playing a suspended player with a different jersey number. Most important sanction was the removal of 5 points from Galatasaray final standings. Check the entire decision.

*All the coaching and technical staff were sacked by the club. Club's basketball department head Yigit Sardan resigned.
Galatasaray has lost all their domestic (League and Cup) game by default with a 20-0 score. Additionally they were deducted five points form their final league standing. Galatasaray will also play their next four home games behind closed doors because of what happened during the game against Fenerbahce Ulker (fans riots) .
