In an interview with the Spanish edition of the NBA, Kristaps Porzingis referred to his presence in the New York Knicks as well as his rehabilitation.

Here is what the Dallas Mavericks power forward/center told NBA Spain:

On his presence in the Knicks: “I had a very good experience in the city, but I still find it difficult to talk about the Knicks. Everything happened a short time ago. In the summer, when things settle down, I’ll talk more extensively about that.”

On his rehabilitation: “I feel perfect. I really want to go come back, but I also have to be patient and wait for the right moment. I still don’t have answers from the coach if I’m going to return this season. I talk about many topics with him, not only about my return to the courts.

I continue with the recovery work. I am very happy with the physical improvement. The other day I was looking at some pictures on my phone, checking how many hours of work we have dedicated. When I return, everything will be very exciting for me.”
