Even before the season had started Brandon Thomas and MEG Gottingen decided to part ways due to differences on how the player should be utilized in the team.
Brandon Thomas sees himself as a swinger, a player to play both as a shooting guard and as a small forward, while the club signed him to cover the power forward position. Based on these facts both parts decided not to continue together.
