Baskonia scored a club record 38 points in the third quarter and dominated Khimki at home (104-86) to boost its chances to qualify to the playoffs.

The Basques, who finished the game with a club record 31 assists, outscored the Russians 38-16 in the third quarter and cruised to an easy victory.

Seven players scored in double figures for the winners, with Vincent Poirier having 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Malcolm Thomas (19 points), Tony Crocker (18 points, 6-for-9 shooting) and Alexey Shved (15 points, eight assists) were the best players of the losing squad.

Baskonia improved to 13-12, whereas Khimki dropped to 9-16 and now is on the brink of elimination.
