The Cleveland Cavaliers plan to trade shooting guard J.R. Smith in June.

At the moment, J.R. Smith is dropped from the Cavaliers’ rotation.

On November 20, 2018, Cleveland announced that the 33-year-old player “will no longer be with team as the organization works with JR and his representation regarding his future.”

This season, Smith averaged 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, while shooting at 34.2 percent from the floor and 30.8 percent from three in 20.2 minutes of action.
